Glue Varnish

Water-based all-round glue varnish of excellent quality that can be used a both a multipurpose glue or glossy varnish. Popular for making collages with shiny, rough or absorbent objects, as well as natural materials. Also suitable for sampling/transferring photocopied designs onto canvas and other materials. The glue dries crystal clear and is waterproof.

The glue can be applied with a brush, glue spatula or directly from the bottle. All tools can be cleaned with hot water afterwards.

Sampling/transfer of photocopied designs to canvas: Spread a layer of glue varnish on the canvas and place printed copy paper down against the glue and smooth out the paper on the back. Allow to dry completely. Moisten the back of the paper slightly with a damp sponge. Now carefully roll the paper off with your fingers until the printed design can be seen. Allow to dry. You can now continue working with opaque or transparent paint to colour the printed design on the canvas
