How to mix colours using Silk Clay® Create your own colours with Silk Clay® by mixing/kneading different Silk Clay® colours together. Learn how to mix your own colours using basic colours, and create lighter and darker tones using black and white.
How to mould Silk Clay® Silk Clay® is non-sticky and easy to mould, so practising the different techniques will help you to easily create perfectly smooth shapes. Learn to make different standard shapes and build on them to create your own imaginative figures. This video shows you how to roll sausages, roll balls and shape triangles – all shapes that you can combine into countless figures.
How to use Silk Clay® tools This video teaches you how to roll Silk Clay® flat and smooth using a pattern roller and how to create small details with a modelling stick.
How to join together Silk Clay® Once you have moulded Silk Clay®, you can easily attach the pieces to one another. Just apply a little pressure while it is still wet – but if you press the figures too hard, they will lose their shape. If the Silk Clay® becomes a bit dry, rub a little water on it and it will easily stick again.
