Painted Stacking Terracotta Candle Holders

Stackable terracotta candle holders to combine in many ways. Paint each in a different colour with A-Color Glass paint, providing a shiny polished surface. Use a black glass & porcelain marker for details. For tea lights and conventional candles!

How to do it
1. Paint each candle holder with an individual pattern and colour. Stacking a stripy candle holder and a candle holder with painted dots, adds an amusing effect when stacked.
2. Paint points with two colours. You may draw guide lines with a pencil onto the candle holder before painting.
3. Paint the candle holder using a light base colour and then paint dark dots using a foam stencil brush.
4. Paint a check pattern. Apply a coat of the light base colour paint onto the entire candle and paint checks with the dark paint.
5. NB! Only paint checks onto three sides of the candle holder and leave the forth side to paint a face. Use a white glass & porcelain marker for drawing the eyes and the mouth and use a black one for adding details and contour lines where two colours are adjacent to each other.
