Make colourful floral designs on both white and black watercolour paper. Create beautiful, fluid transitions with watercolours, add depth and texture with oil pastels and for the finishing touch, use a marker to highlight the details. The designs don't have to be perfect, but can have a slightly random look.

How to do it

1   Fill the water brush with water.

2   Take a black piece of watercolour paper and dip the paintbrush into the white paint.

3   Paint a background with white watercolour paint, which will make the colours stand out even more. You can draw whatever design you choose or copy the design shown in the picture.

4   Apply several layers of the white watercolour paint if desired and allow to dry.

5   Clean the brush.

6   Dip the brush in the pink colour.

7   Paint with pink wherever you want.
