How to do it
Guide step %d Measure 3 x 15 g of white soap base.
Guide step %d Put the soap base in a heat-resistant container. Melt the soap in the microwave at 80% power for around 30 seconds. If the soap is not completely melted, heat it for 5 seconds at a time until it is completely liquid.
Guide step %d If you do not have a microwave, you can melt the soap base in a water bath at 50-70 °C. Do not allow the water to boil. Stir the soap while melting.
Guide step %d Melt one batch of soap base at a time. Now add pink soap colour to two of the melted soap bases. Add 3 drops of colour to the first 15 g batch of soap. Next, add 10 drops to the next 15 g of soap and no colour to the last 15 g batch of soap.
Guide step %d Stir the two colours completely into the soap bases and pour the mixture into the mould. Allow the flowers to set in the mould for around 5 minutes before carefully tilting them out.
Guide step %d Tip: If too much soap mass is poured into the mould or the soap overflows, carefully remove the excess solidified soap with a craft knife. Be careful not to cut into the mould.
Guide step %d Place the moulded flowers in the mould. In this idea, there are 11 flowers in different designs and colours.
Guide step %d Measure 75 g of clear soap base.
Guide step %d Melt the transparent soap base for around 30 seconds in a microwave or in a water bath on the stove as before. The soap may not exceed 70-80°C.
Guide step %d Add 2 drops of pink soap colour to the melted clear soap and stir well.
Guide step %d Pour the clear pink soap over the flowers in the mould and allow to harden.
Guide step %d Allow the soap to harden for around 1 hour. Gently press the soup out of the mould by applying light pressure on the back until it loosens.
Guide step %d Divide the soap into four pieces with a sharp knife.
Guide step %d If the edges are slightly uneven, they can be smoothed with a little water. The soap is fully hardened and ready for use after 24 hours of drying time on an absorbent surface (e.g. cardboard). Store the soap in a self-draining soap dish or wrapped in tissue paper or in a cellophane bag.
