Sea life figures

Free-standing sea life figures made from light-coloured wood. Easy to decorate with Plus Color hobby paint or similar.

Depending on how you want to decorate it, the wooden animal can be sanded lightly down with sandpaper first. The opaque Plus Color Craft Paint, which is available in a wide range of colours, is ideal for painting the figure. The paint is also available as a pen, which is excellent for applying small details onto the painted surface of the figure. If you want to achieve a stained look, the Plus Color paint can be diluted with water – in which case a subsequent coat of varnish with a water-based acrylic lacquer is recommended. The stained look can be combined with lines and patterns made with a wood burning tool before painting over with the diluted paint..

Besides being decorative, the animal is also great for children to play with, perhaps with other animals from the same series of wooden figures.
