Our polyester cord is incredibly hard-wearing and durable, yet at an affordable price. It has many of the same qualities as silk cord – making it a favourite for jewellery making and macramé projects. You can braid and tie the beads or thread them onto the cord. If you use the cord for making bead jewellery, for example, you can make the process even easier. Simply burn the end of the string – and roll it between two fingers to shape a sharp tip. Alternatively, dip the end in glue, roll it to a point and allow the glue to dry. This seals the end and makes it stiff, preventing it from fraying when you thread the beads on .
