Moustache Jewellery Pendants from decorated Shrink Plastic Sheets

This moustache pendant is made from cut-out shrink plastic sheets which are decorated with bright Uni Posca markers. When shrunk it is attached to a necklace made from a piece of neon coloured macramé cord.

How to do it

Print the template which is available as a separate PDF file for this idea. Cut it out and draw onto a transparent shrink plastic sheet using a Uni Posca marker.

Use the largest hole on the revolving punch pliers for making a hole at the top of both sides of the moustache, enabling you to use it as a pendant when shrunk.

Place the moustache on a baking sheet covered with baking paper and put it in an ordinary household oven at 160 °C. The plastic will shrink quickly and then flatten again. See the before and after example...
