How to do it

1 Punch out leaves in different sizes from tissue paper in autumn colours using a craft punch set consisting of in three different sizes. A tip: in order to avoid the tissue paper getting stuck in the paper punch, place 8-10 sheets of tissue paper inside a folded piece of paper and punch out.

2 Remove the metal handle from the glass lantern. Wash the lantern to remove dust and grease. Apply decoupage lacquer for glass and porcelain onto the surface of the glass lantern using a flat brush. Work on one small area at a time and place the leaves onto the wet lacquer. Apply a coat of decoupage lacquer on top of each leaf. Leave to dry until the following day.
