Eggs with rocaille seed beads

1 Use about 4 metres of thread for the twisting of the beads and tie the first bead to the end.

2 Thread more beads onto the string at the same time using a bead carousel. Hold the needle at the surface of the beads and twist the carousel. Scan the QR code on the bead carousel's packaging and watch the video.

3 The plastic eggs have an embossed hole for pressing out at the bottom. If the egg is to be turned upside down, a hole can easily be melted using a needle. Warm the needle over a candle or heat it up using a lighter.

4 Melt a hole using the hot needle.

5 Insert the eyelet into the egg.

6 Tie the end of the thread around the hanger.

7 Apply glue to the egg.

8 Now wrap the beads around the egg. Apply glue to one piece at a time, so that the entire egg is not covered – this makes it easier to handle the beads.

9 If the beading string becomes untied during the process – tie a new string at the end and continue working. End in the same way as you began. Tie a knot around the last bead, glue it, and thread the hanger.
