How to do it

3 Frog and flower made from the cone part of an egg carton, pipe cleaners, cardboard and a little paint.

5 Glue together the two cones by placing the straight edges against each other and using sticky base to adhere them together.

6 Paint the hanging animal decorations in whatever colour you want, such as green for the frog, yellow for the chick and orange for the bunny.

8 Cut 25 cm of silk ribbon, fold it in half and tie a knot. On the opposite end from the knot, attach the ribbon to the head with sticky base.

Pipe cleaner hanging decoration Even the youngest of children can make these decorations, as long as they are able to cut pieces out of cardboard.

1 Cut out pieces of cardboard in different colours and shapes. Make a hole in the middle with pointed scissors (the only step that requires a little help from an adult).

2 Alternately thread the fuse beads and cardboard pieces onto a pipe cleaner, leaving around 7 cm free on each end.

4 Cut 25 cm of ribbon, fold it in half, pull it through the hole in the flower head and tie a knot inside the flower – if necessary, tie a double knot so that the ribbon won't slip out again.

5 If the flower is to have several layers, place the sticky base inside the flower on top of the knot.

Fuse bead hanging egg decoration The egg shape can have lots of different designs. Just make sure not to mix together different types of fuse beads because they all have different melting temperatures.
