Decorated wooden Coat Hooks

These flat, round coat hooks from light wood in different sizes are all decorated uniquely. One is decorated with a marker pen, another with paint and varnish for a spectacular crackling effect, the third with decoupage and the fourth is made magnetic with special paint.

How to do it
1 
A coat hook with decoupage: Prime with white Plus Color craft paint and leave to dry.

Attach the decoupage paper using decoupage lacquer. Leave to dry and cut away excess paper using a craft knife. Varnish with decoupage lacquer and leave to dry.

A coat hook with a marker drawing: Use a Uni Posca marker and draw a design using your own imagination. A TIP: You may varnish the coat hook with decoupage lacquer beforehand. Remember to let it dry before decorating with the marker.

A magnetic coat hook: Paint the coat hook with black magnetic paint for a magnetic effect. The magnets may be prints etc. Attach these to self-adhesive magnetic blackboard foil which can be cut to size.
