Christmas Trees from Paper Star Strips & Nabbi Bead Tree Trunks

These Christmas trees are made from paper star strips sewn onto a piece of mercerised cotton yarn in a zig-zag fashion with Nabbi Beads in between. Two card stars are glued onto the top of each tree – one on each side of the yarn.

How to do it
1. 
Make two stars for each tree from yellow card using a lever punch.

Make a loop at one end of a piece of mercerised cotton yarn. Glue on the stars – one on each side of the cotton yarn – below the loop.

Thread the yarn onto the needle and thread on two Nabbi beads. Now push the needle through one end of the paper star strip (in the middle), thread on another Nabbi bead and then push the needle through another bit of the paper star strip. Continue like this in a zig-zag fashion around the Nabbi beads. Remember to keep a proper tree shape.
