Christmas figures made of cardboard boxes and yarn

Make Santa and his friends out of cardboard boxes and yarn. Cut the figures out of thick recycled cardboard and wrap them in thick yarn. Stick everything in place with Sticky Base, which is perfect for this.

How to do it
1 Cut out a square of strong corrugated board from a cardboard box – this should be 9 x 15 cm or larger. Cut off the corners as well as a little from the bottom if needed, as shown in the picture.
2 Stick the cardboard pieces together to form figures and glue together with Sticky Base, which is applied with your fingers. Allow to dry completely – ideally until the next day.
3 Apply Sticky Base adhesive with your fingers and spread it lightly over some of the cardboard – both front and back. Now, wrap thick woollen yarn around the cardboard. Repeat and continue.
4 Make eyes out of Silk Clay® and a nose out of yarn. Wind up the yarn, mix it with Sticky Base and glue it on – or twist it into a tight, flat spiral onto a small piece of cardboard and stick it down with Sticky Base.
Variant The Christmas figurines can also be wrapped in thick acrylic yarn.
