Christmas baubles from cross stitch card embroidered with gold yarn

1 Sew through the holes using either embroidery floss, cotton yarn or Lurex yarn.

2 Finish by sewing through the hole at the top and around the top of the bauble several times to represent the top cap of a Christmas bauble. Tie a knot and trim for hanging.

3 A tip: You can create many different patterns and add beads or sequins for further decoration. Thread beads or sequins onto the yarn prior to embroidering. Pull forward one bead or sequin at a time so that it sits firmly between the stitches.
