How to embroider a French knot

You can use a French knot individually or in a group. First, thread the needle up through the fabric and loop the yarn twice around the needle towards the tip. Then pull the needle up through the fabric close to the first hole and hold the loop with your finger while gently pulling the yarn and forming the knot. Expand the knot by twisting the yarn around the needle several times.
