A snow globe with a drawing and glitter

Make your own snow globe with a homemade drawing and glitter as a gift idea or a Christmas decoration. Draw and colour in a design on shrink plastic sheet, shrink it in the oven and glue it onto the inside of the lid of the snow globe. Fill the snow globe with water and add glitter.

How to do it
1 Print the template and copy the design onto a shrink plastic sheet.
2 Colour in the design with colouring pencils.
3 Cut out leaving a small border around the design as shown in the photo.
4 Place the shape on a baking sheet lined with a piece of baking paper and shrink in a household oven at 170°C. The shape shrinks and curls up after a couple of minutes and then it flattens out again.
5 The design will shrink by approx. 40%.
6 Attach the shape onto the inside of the lid using a glue gun.
7 Fill the snow globe with water and sprinkle glitter into the water.
8 Screw on the lid.
9 Decorate with design tape around the edge of the lid.
