This shopping bag is decorated with an embroidered leaf design made with a Punch Needle. The design is copied from the template which is available as a separate PDF file for this idea.

How to do it 
Step 1.
Thread the punch needle as shown from step 1-4.
Step 2.

Step 5.
Print the template which is available as a separate PDF file for this idea. Place the template inside the shopping bag and outline the design using a pencil.
Step 6.
Secure the embroidery frame onto the front of the shopping bag.
Step 7.
Punch with the needle following the template. Push the needle up and down. Loops are made on the inside.
Step 8.
The inside of the shopping bag.
Step 9.
Cut out a piece of vliseline and iron it onto the back of the embroidered design, i.e. inside the shopping bag.
Step 10.
Finally sew back stitches along the edge of the vlieseline from the front.
