Aventurine Heart Satin Ribbon Necklaces

1   Cut approx. 35 cm of jewellery wire, making sure the length is shorter than the circumference of your neck because the necklace has a satin ribbon on the end that makes it longer. Attach the crimp cover and crimp bead. Pinch around the crimp bead using a pair of flat-nose pliers.

2   Squeeze the crimp cover around the crimp bead using flat-nose pliers.

3   Twist open the jump ring and pull it through the hole on the crimp cover. Close the jump ring using flat-nose pliers.

4   Add beads to half the jewellery wire in any desired pattern.

5   Attach the aventurine heart to the head pin. Twist the wire around the round nose pliers approx. 2 mm from the edge of the heart, as shown in the picture.

6   Now twist the stem around to close the loop.

7   Cut off the excess wire from the head pin. Repeat the process with the other aventurine heart.

8   Attach the heart to the jewellery wire and fill the rest of the wire with beads in any desired pattern. Finish with a crimp cover, wire clip and jump ring as described in the first three steps.

9   Now cut a piece of satin cord to any desired length (the necklace in the picture has 45 cm of satin cord). Thread each the ends of the satin cord into a jump ring and finish by tying a bow.

10   Cut approx. 85 cm of satin ribbon for the other necklace and attach the aventurine heart. Your jewellery is now ready to be worn!
