An Invitation for a Christening with a Card Giraffe and Letter Beads

1 Cut a piece of metallic card (slightly bigger than the vellum paper) and a piece of vellum paper for attaching onto the front of the greeting card.

2 Attach the metallic card onto the front of the greeting card with double-sided adhesive tape. Cut out the giraffe template available as a separate PDF file on this page and place it underneath the vellum paper (mirrored). Attach double-sided adhesive tape onto the vellum paper so that it is not visible when attaching the giraffe later. Remove the protective paper from the double-sided adhesive tape, and attach it onto the metallic card.

3 Place the giraffe template onto a piece of card, outline and cut out.

4 Make a small hole with a needle in the middle fold of the greeting card. Push the wire through the hole, thread letter beads onto the wire and tie it on the back.

5 Attach the metal paper clip with a bow onto the giraffe . Attach the giraffe onto the front of the greeting card with 3D foam pads, making sure that it covers the double-sided adhesive tape on the vellum paper.
