An abstract Figure made from Polystyrene with Papier-mâché Pulp

This figure is made from polystyrene cones and UFOs assembled with stub wires and then covered with papier-mâché pulp. When dry, paint it with A-Color acrylic paint.

How to do it

1   Soak papier-mâché powder in water in the ratio: 3 parts powder to 1 part water.

2   Shorten three stub wires so that each measures approx. 8 cm.

3   Cover the parts with papier-mâché pulp and assemble them using the stub wires. Cover the joints with more papier-mâché pulp.

4   Attach the last part onto the top of the figure using a stub wire and push together with more papier-mâché pulp. Leave to dry.

5   Paint the figure with A-Color acrylic paint and leave to dry. Cut extra stub wires and attach them for eye lashes at the very top.
