A wooden Storage Box decorated with a stencilled Ethnic Design

The lid of the wooden box is painted with gold Plus Color craft paint and decorated with off-white Plus Color craft paint, dabbed through a stencil with an ethnic design.

How to do it
1 Paint the lid of the wooden box with gold Plus Color craft paint.
2 Here is a tip to prevent the stencil from sliding: spray the back of the stencil with spray adhesive. Spray a thin layer from approx 25 cm distance. Leave to dry until the glue is tacky; i.e. the glue is sticky, but it no longer sticks to the fingers when you touch it.
3 Place the stencil on top of the box lid.
4 Dab off-white Plus Color craft paint onto the stencil with a sponge. Only put a VERY small amount of paint onto the sponge. Dab a small amount of paint several times rather than applying too much paint.
5 Remove the stencil and clean it in lukewarm water (the spray adhesive cannot be rinsed off).
