A Wedding Invitation and Envelope decorated with Design Paper

1 Print out the template which is available as a separate PDF file on this page. Cut a piece of design paper for the wedding invitation insert, an envelope insert and a paper waistband using the template.

2 Print the invitation text onto white paper. Make sure that the text fits inside a 11.5 x 11.5 cm paper square. Print names/dates onto a white paper waist band. Print in landscape so you can cut the paper to size 28 x 1.8 cm.

3 Attach the insert inside the wedding invitation using double-sided adhesive tape and then attach the text on top with double-sided adhesive tape. Attach the piece of paper with the names/dates onto the design paper waist band using double-sided adhesive tape.

4 Place the design paper envelope insert inside the envelope and secure it onto the inside of the envelope at the top with double-sided adhesive tape. Keep the design paper away from the adhesive edge of the envelope to ensure that the envelope can be closed afterwards.

5 The finished wedding invitation and envelope.

6 Join the two ends with double-sided adhesive tape to fasten the waistband around the invitation.
