A Shopping Bag and a Drawstring Bag decorated with Screen Stencils and Wax Paint Sticks

This shopping bag and drawstring bag are decorated with solid tempera wax paint sticks for fabrics using a screen stencil.

How to do it
1 Place a plastic pocket (or similar) inside the bag for protection, avoiding smudging.
2 Attach the screen stencil (it has a slightly self-adhesive back) onto the bag. Attach Masking Tape to all four corners to keep it in place. Twist the crayon from the paint stick and start painting.
3 Fix the design with an iron when dry. Place a piece of baking paper between the print and the iron and fix for approx. 4 min.
A TIP! The crayons in the paint sticks used in this idea can be washed at 60°C depending on the quality of the fabric used.
