A Pallet Podium with self-adhesive Film

Make your very own podium from half pallets and decorate it using self-adhesive film with beautiful patterns. The finished podium measures: H (with castors: 58 cm – without castors: 45 cm). L: 83 cm and W: 63 cm.

How to do it

Begin by putting the two half pallets together and then screw on one of the sides. The two short pallet sides measure: 60 x 45 cm and the two long sides measure 83 x 45 cm.

Insert a screw at each end of the board approx. 2 cm from the edge. A piece of scrap wood is here used for measuring how far up the screw should be positioned so that the top will eventually be at the right height relative to the sides.

Continue to screw the remaining sides onto the pallets as well as the screws which will support the top.

Place the top board onto the screws. The measurements of the top board are 60 x 80 cm.

The self-adhesive film fits across the width of the 45 cm wide podium. Start with the sides and make sure to start away from the edge on one side, so that the foil can overlap. Finish with the top board; attach the foil 2 cm over the sides so that you can cut a notch for the corners to be stuck down over the sides.
