A painted Tray with Glass Mosaic

This tray is painted with white Plus Color craft paint. When dry, the base is decorated on the inside with small mosaic glass fragments using white mosaic filler.

How to do it

Paint the tray all over with white Plus Color craft paint. Apply two coats. Allow to dry between each coat.

Use a spatula to apply a thin layer of mosaic filler to the inside base of the tray. A TIP: As an alternative for attaching the small glass mosaic fragments in the mosaic filler, you may use Clear Multi Glue Gel.

Place the glass mosaic fragments in a pattern according to your imagination onto the prepared inside base of the tray, leaving a 2-3 mm space between each. Leave to dry for a minimum of 30 minutes.

Apply the mosaic filler over the tiled area working it into all the spaces using a spatula. Leave to dry for approx. 10 minutes.
