A Key Fob with an embossed Metal Name Tag and a Faux Leather Paper Tag

This key fob is made from a metal name tag with a stamped name and an embossed faux leather paper tag with a rivet.

How to do it
1 Attach a piece of power tape onto the steel stamping block.
2 Place the metal tag onto the power tape, preventing it from moving. Hold one letter embossing stamp at a time on the metal tag and strike several times with the metal stamping hammer. Strike firmly with medium force.
3 Use a black stamp enamel marker to highlight the stamped design. Wait for a couple of minutes before wiping away the excess stamp enamel from the metal tag with a soft, dry cloth.
4 Cut a strip of faux leather paper. Emboss text onto the faux leather paper using the same procedure as when embossing the metal tag. Do not strike too hard with the metal stamping hammer.
5 Double over the faux leather paper strip and make a hole with a screw punch.
6 Place the two parts of the rivet through the hole. Use the rivet setting tool and a hammer to set the rivet. Trim the end of the faux leather paper strip. Attach the metal tag and the faux leather paper tag in the keyring.
