A Heart with a Leaf Print

This glass heart is decorated with stamped designs and natural leaves. Designs and craft felt are attached with decoupage lacquer and the text is written with a glass and porcelain marker.

How to do it
1 Write text with a glass and porcelain marker. Fix the heart in the oven at 160°C for 90 minutes.
2 Dab the back of the leaf thoroughly with the ink pad. Carefully place the leaf between two pages in the drawing pad and press together thorougly.
3 Remove the print from the pad and leave to dry for the next step.
4 Place the glass heart over the leaf print and draw the outline of the glass heart onto paper using a pencil.
5 Cut out.
6 Apply a thin coat of decoupage lacquer onto the front (the print) of the cut-out paper heart.
7 Attach the cut-out paper heart onto the back of the glass heart.
8 Place the heart onto the craft felt, copy the outline and cut out another heart shape for the base. Apply a coat of decoupage lacquer onto the felt and attach it onto the paper heart.
9 Follow the same instructions for stamped leaves. Place the silicon stamp onto the acrylic block, apply paint onto the stamp using the ink pad. Stamp onto the cut-out paper heart.
