Soy Wax

Pure vegetable wax made from soya beans. Use it for making candles in glass, etc. and add e.g. colour and scent. Melting temperature between 38–44 degrees. For the candle wick, you can use: 73314, 73313 or 73383.

If you want to make your own candles, this soy wax is perfect. It is important to melt the wax in a water bath. For example, use a cylindrical melting vessel and lower it into a saucepan. When the water boils, the wax will melt in the vessel – and you can then pour it into candle glasses (where you have already glued a wick to the bottom). 100 grammes of wax becomes an 80 ml wax candle. Colours: Approx. 2 grammes for 100 grammes of wax. The wax will cure after 3–4 hours, but you can only light the candle after 48 hours. Tip: Soy wax is only suitable for making candles in a container, as it becomes soft/liquid when the candle is lit. Soy wax is biodegradable and free of additives
