Six-stranded necklace

Necklaces with many strands make fashionable jewellery. You can use a bead caddy spinner to help you threading the small rocaille beads. Otherwise, this necklace is very simple to make.

How to do it
1. Cut six pieces of beading wire. Assemble these in a bead tip and a crimp bead which you squeeze flat. Cut off the ends of the beading wire. Close the bead tip around the bead.
2. Thread on a wooden bead over all the strands and continue with each individual wire. Thread on a large number of rocaille beads with a large bead placed randomly in-between.

3. The rocaille beads are easily threaded onto the wire on when using a bead caddy spinner. Squeeze the beading wire flat at the end with flat nose pliers before threading it. Put a lot of beads into the bead caddy spinner and turn clockwise. Hold the needle as shown with the hook to the left.
4. Finish with a wooden bead which assembles all the strands. Close in the same way as at the beginning. Attach a round jump ring on each side and a clasp on one side.
