Silicone mould in a wooden box
This double rectangular silicone and wood mould is intended primarily for soap casting, but can also be used for concrete and plaster casting. The wooden mould ensures stability during the casting and curing process.
Pour the moulding compound into the silicone mould and leave to harden completely. It's easy to get the moulded pieces out of the flexible silicone mould. If there is any residue from the cast left in the mould, rinse with lukewarm water. This type of mould is especially popular for striped homemade soaps, where several colour soaps are poured in one at a time, and where each colour is left to harden before the next is added. Finally, cut the striped soap block into slices.
