How to do it
1 Cut off the egg box tips and drill a small hole in the top.
2 Lay a doubled piece 1 mm leather cord, tie a double knot at the ends and pull the loop through the hole on the egg box tip so that the knot is hidden inside.
3 Place a wooden bead on the leather cord as a head so that it rests on the tip of the egg box.
4 Draw a face with a thin black marker.
Angel Cut a strip from a milk carton and fold to make the angel’s arms. Glue together and mount with glue gun.
6 Cut small strips of milk carton, roll around a small brush handle and glue like curly hair.
7 Wrap 1 mm leather cord around 3–4 fingers, tie double knots at the ends and twist the cord into a figure of 8. Glue on as angel wings.
8 Draw a pattern on the bottom of the dress with Posca markers.
Christmas elves: Cut the scarf and hat out of newspaper. Draw stripes on the scarf with Posca markers.
10 Fold the hat, leave a small hole at the top and pull it on the leather cord on top of the head. Finish with a small wooden bead.
11 Wrap the scarf around the elf’s body and carefully glue the ends over each other using a glue gun.
Snowman: Drill holes in the side of the body and insert small branches as arms. You can glue them on with a glue gun.
13 Draw buttons with Posca marker.
14 Make eyes with a brush handle dipped in craft paint and draw the mouth with a thin black marker.
15 Drill a small hole with e.g. pointed scissors and glue on a tiny branch as a nose. Paint the tip with orange paint.
16 Remember! Make the leather cord for hanging a little longer, as there also needs to be space for the wooden bead/head.
