Reusable lunch paper for your Patchwork Fabric lunch sandwich
#v16756
Melt beeswax into patchwork fabric and use it as an alternative to food wax paper, or as a lid on glasses and bowls. The food wax paper can be used again and again, and can be easily cleaned using a damp cloth and, if necessary, a mild soap. Store it in a clean, dry place; flat, folded or rolled. N.B: Should not be used with meat or fish.

2 Place baking paper under the fabric. Sprinkle the grated beeswax on top so that it covers the fabric. N.B: Fabric with a white base colour will become off-white from the colour of the beeswax.

3 Place another piece of baking paper on top. Iron over medium heat until the entire fabric is covered with melted beeswax. Tip: Transfer the beeswax to a new piece of fabric if the first one becomes over saturated. Simply place the new piece of fabric on top of the first one and iron again to transfer the beeswax – remember the baking paper.
