Real leather jewellery

1   Draw the flowers using the shape template – cut out.

2   Punch holes and insert eyelets.

3   Punch the two flowers together.

4   Cut two pieces of leather cord each measuring 110cm and one piece of leather cord measuring 130cm.

5   Cut three 25cm long pieces of leather cord for the knots.

6   Double over the 25cm long cord and put on the six doubled over cords.

12   Tie a total of three knots – one knot on each side tied around three cords and the third knot gathering all six cords below.

13   Pull a flower onto the end of the longest cord.

14   Tie a knot. Twist three times around your finger, pass the cord end through the loop and tighten.

15   Pass the cord end through the flower.

16   Pass the cord end up through the other flower.

17   Tie another knot.

18   Pass the cord end down through the flower and tie on the reverse.

19   Attach beads onto the cord ends and glue on end caps.
