Plastic Egg with Marble Effect

The cute plastic eggs with marbled paint effect are made using a simple and fun technique that even the youngest children at daycare centres can do.

1 Splatter two different colours of paint in a small bag.
2 Place a plastic egg in the paint in the bag and close the bag so that even the youngest children can sit and colour the eggs themselves.
3 Open the bag and insert a bamboo stick into the small hole at the bottom of the egg. Leave to dry on the stick.
4 Cut a piece of pipe cleaner for hanging.
5 Glue the pipe cleaner to the large tube bead using a glue gun to form a circle.
6 Glue the large tube bead with pipe cleaner onto the egg.
7 Children can practice their fine motor skills by threading the pipe cleaner with ordinary fused beads before attaching it to the large tube bead. It’s not as hard as on a string because there is wire in the middle of the pipe cleaner.
