Create an everlasting flower that looks like a beautiful spider lily. The stem is made with floral tape and floral stem wire, while the flowers are made with soft pipe cleaners. Follow the step-by-step instructions and be delightfully surprised at how easy these flowers are to make.

How to do it

1 Use four pipe cleaners for each spider lily flower. Make three flowers for each stem.
2 Divide all four pipe cleaners into three equal parts.
3 Fold the six pieces in half and twist the ends together.
4 Squeeze together the pointed end.
5 Make it as pointy as possible.
6 Cut down to the floral wire on five pieces of pipe cleaner, leaving around 1.5 cm uncut.
7 Make a pointed tip.
8 Here are all the different flower parts.
9 Glue the six folded pieces around the flower stamens.
10 Wrap the last piece of pipe cleaner around the stem.
11 Make two more of the same type of flower and wrap the bottom with floral tape.
12 Glue the three flowers onto the floral wire.
13 Wrap floral tape around the three flowers around 5 cm from the top of the stem.
14 Shape the leaves.
15 Shape the flower stamens.
