Pipe cleaner Christmas decorations
#v16938
Make lots of Christmas figures using soft and colourful pipe cleaners. Add beads to the pipe cleaners and shape them into traditional Christmas figures like Christmas trees, stars and hearts – or have the children create their own Christmas decorations using their imagination. You can also create adorable angels out of glitter paper.

How to do it

1 Make angels out of glitter paper. Cut circles out of glitter paper with a diameter of around 8 cm. Cut a slit in the middle of the circle and fold it into a cone. Adhere the ends together with sticky base. Shape a pipe cleaner into a halo with a small stem to insert into the middle of the circle. Attach a pom-pom and wings using sticky base.

2 Make hanging decorations with glitter paper. Cut circles out of glitter paper with a diameter of around 8 cm. Attach a pipe cleaner around the circle using sticky base and decorate it with Eva foam shapes. Make a loop for hanging with a pipe cleaner and secure with sticky base.

3 Make Christmas trees out of pipe cleaners. Cut pipe cleaners into lengths of around 10 cm and then bend them in half. Attach them to both sides of the EVA foam stick using sticky base. Attach a pom-pom, beads and pipe cleaner hanger with sticky base.

4 Make these hanging decorations. Fold three Eva foam sticks in half. Thread beads onto a piece of pipe cleaner and wrap it around the ends of the three Eva foam sticks to join them together. Now attach pom-poms inside the Eva foam rings using sticky base.

5 Make a snowflake with three pipe cleaners of around 10 cm long. Twist the pipe cleaners together in the middle and add small pieces of pipe cleaner all around to create a snowflake. Also twist on an extra piece of pipe cleaner for hanging.
