Paperboard is both thicker and stronger than the standard paper and card you are accustomed to. So if you need to cut the paperboard, use a craft knife and a cutting board – and depending on the purpose, you can glue it with a glue gun. Always make sure an adult is around to supervise if children are working with paperboard – because it's not for small fingers. However, you can also use masking tape and liquid glue on the paperboard.
