Mobile from a Metal Ring with Bead Pendants & laminated Drawings

A mobile made from a metal wire ring. Two pieces of beading cord are tied onto the ring and gathered for hanging. Elastic beading cords with fuse beads and shaped beads are tied onto the ring. A laminated card disc is attached to the end of each pendant.

How to do it
1. Make a drawing with markers and/or colouring pencils on each side of the card disc (approx. 7 cm diameter). In this example we have laminated all the card discs. You may use clear sticky back plastic instead of laminating the card discs.
2. Make a hole at the top of the card disc. Tie a long piece of coloured elastic beading cord onto the card disc as shown.
3. Thread fuse beads and shape beads onto the elastic beading cord.
4. After the last bead, tie the elastic beading cord onto the metal ring with reef knots.
5. Tie four pieces of beading cord onto the ring and gather for hanging.
