Lovely potholders with silk paint

Make these lovely potholders with a light and airy look. The children draw lovely simple designs and decorate with silk paint in pale colours. A great and personal gift idea for someone special. This task is testing the children's imagination, fine motor skills and sense of colour.

How to do it:. Draw a design on the potholder with a textile marker.
2. Paint the design with silk paint. Dilute with plenty of water.
3. Fix the design with an iron following the instructions on the silk paint.
4. The potholders can now be washed at 30°C.
A tip. Work with max. 4 colours for a calm look. Please note that the colours merge into each other when working wet-on-wet.
