Leather necklace with glass beads

This is how you do it   Cut different kinds of leather cords which length wise fit a long chain. Gather the cords with knots as you go along and pull on glass beads and silver rings. Also, on the cords put on spirals made with a wire working tool set.

1.   Attach the silver-plated wire onto the base and attach the mandrel. Feel free to use different size mandrels.

2.   Keep the wire in place on the mandrel with your left thumb and turn around with your right index finger in the top hole of the base.

3.   Now cut the coil to the desired length or pull it longer if preferred.

4.   Pull the spiral onto the leather cord/cords. Press the ends lightly with a pair of flatnose pliers.
