Lanterns made from Paper Star Strips on Tea Light Candle Holders

1. As the candle holder is slightly conical, measure and cut a strip for the upper and the lower part respectively.

2. Attach double-sided adhesive tape onto the inside of the shorter of the two paper strips. Attach 14 9cm long paper strips vertically, spaced closely together.

3. Attach double-sided tape onto the longer of the two strips. Place the ends of the 14 paper strips onto this strip. NB: Now there is a space of approx. 1mm between the strips due to the difference in size between the top part and the bottom part of the candle holder.

4. From the outer side, make a horizontal bend backwards on the close, vertical strips.

5. Attach double-sided adhesive tape onto the inside of the upper and lower horizontal strips. Attach onto the candle holder. Start at the bottom.

6. When attaching the upper horizontal strip, remove the protective layer of the tape as you go along the rim of the candle holder as the paper lantern encloses the candle holder.
