Jewellery School. Finishing with End Caps
#v12366
Fold-over cord ends and end caps are used when finishing your bracelets and necklaces with a clasp. All of them have a hole for attaching a clasp. The difference is: Fold-over cord ends are used for squeezing around soft cords. End caps are used for all types of metal chains which are glued in place with strong glue.

1. Fold-over cord end:
Place the cord (3mm) inside the fold over cord end. Squeeze the two sides around the cord; one side at the time.

5. End Cap (2mm):
Apply a small blob of Super Attak Instant Glue to the inside of the end cap. Insert the cord (2mm) into the end cap with the glue. Keep it in place until the glue has dried.
