Hanging Card Cat Decorations with colourful Tummies and Pipe Cleaner Tails

These cats are cut from plain card using a template. The circles are cut from patterned card and stapled together with a stapler to form a bauble to give the cats round bodies.

How to do it
1 Cut out a cat from plain card using the template which is available as an attached file on this page.
2 Cut six card circles, four whiskers and a nose from patterned card. Fold the circles in the middle and staple three together at the time along the fold in the middle. You now have two half baubles.
3 Glue on the eyes, whiskers and noses on the front and back of the cat. Glue on one of the card half baubles onto the front and the other one onto the back of the cat.
4 Make a hole with a hole punch at the bottom of the cat body. Feed a pipe cleaner halfway through the hole and twist it for the cat's tail.
5 Now open out the card circles to give the cat a round body at the front and the back. Attach a string for hanging.
