Gouache Paint

Water-based paint with intense coverage and matte finish. Dries quickly and is easy to mix. Suitable for paper, cardboard, Bristol board and watercolour paper.

Gouache paint combines the best of watercolour and acrylic paints. When you dilute the colours with water, you can create light and transparent watercolour-like effects. The colours are easy to blend and let you create natural transitions and depth. You can also reactivate the paint with a little water, so you can always fine-tune or change your painting as you work. Unlike watercolours, gouache has intense coverage that allows you to paint light colours directly on top of dark ones without losing intensity.
