Glass Color Frost
Water-based paint with frosted effect for glass and porcelain. Bake in a household oven at 160°C for 30 min - wash by hand .
Dab the special varnish on a grease-free, clean surface such as glass. Use a foam stencil to apply one layer and leave to dry for 4-6 hours. Cure the piece by placing it in a preheated, standard oven at 160 °C for 30 minutes. Leave to cool on a wire rack. Use the varnish as a medium by adding a drop of standard translucent glass paint, which can withstand heat curing. This gives you a pastel-coloured, frosted lacquer. You can also switch between frosted lacquer and ordinary paint by applying masking tape before dabbing on the paint. Then remove the tape before the varnish dries. Clean tools in warm water after use..
Decorate glass tealight holders, decorative glasses or lanterns in striking colours and a matte finish. By using frosted lacquer, you can turn old glass jars into beautiful lanterns with patterns, figures or quotes. You can also make small glass tealight holders for everyday use and special occasions alike. Select your preferred colour and decorate the clean glass, first with paint and then with the lacquer. You can use the lacquer separately and give the glass a snowy effect for Christmas. Place glass tealight holders and lanterns in the window to create a beautiful effect from the sun. As the lacquer is not scratch resistant, we don't recommend that you use it on drinking glasses.
