Fun sewing boards with yarn motif

Children can sew beautiful motifs with yarn on these lovely lacing boards. This could be all kinds of colourful animals and figures with soft and three-dimensional effects. This is a fun way to sew and be creative!
How to do it Download the templates/recipes
1 First draw a sketch of the motif on a sheet of squared paper. This gives an impression of what the children can sew on the board.
2 Draw the motif on the board with a pencil.
3 Then sew the motif with different stitches and different colours of yarn
4 Try making small effects with yarn.
5 Finally, glue on big wiggly eyes using a glue gun.
6 If you like, paint the board first so that the picture has a coloured base.
