How to do it

1 Cut a piece of crepe paper approx. 14 cm wide and 11 cm in the stretch direction. Apply glue to the egg and stretch the crepe paper around the egg. Finish by twisting the crepe paper at the top.

3 Cut the crepe paper top off some of the eggs but make sure that the remaining crepe paper is still covering the top of the egg. Apply a bit of glue at the top and push the crepe paper firmly into the glue to cover the polystyrene egg.

5 Decorate the eggs with watercolour markers. You may use an airbrush which sprays the paint from the watercolour marker onto the egg in small droplets.

7 Spray a bit of water in a spray bottle onto the edge decorated with the watercolour marker and watch how the paint runs into the crepe paper.

9 Make small bows and ribbon from crepe paper.
Make a bow by cutting a piece of crepe paper measuring 3 cm in width and 12 cm in the stretch direction. Glue the ends together. Cut a ribbon for the bow measuring approx. 1 cm in width and 15 cm in length in the stretch direction.
