Easy knitted Dishcloths
SKU: v15500
Knit your own dishcloths that are practical, beautiful and good for the environment. Knit the dishcloths in simple patterns so beginners can join in. Vary the seed stitch pattern with patterned squares consisting of plain knitting and purl or knit a dishcloth with the brioche stitch with a variation. One ball of wool is enough for two dishcloths.

How to do it

1
Cast 52 stitches onto No. 3.5 knitting needle for the dishcloth with the brioche stitch. Knit following the pattern. Here we are demonstrating the purl stitch with yarn over, followed by slipping a stitch purlwise.

2
Knit the two stitches next to each other together.

3
Knit seed stitches by knitting one stitch, purling one stitch. These stitches are repeated staggered over two rows, alternating by knitting the purl stitches and purling the knit stitches until the dishcloth is finished.

4
Knit a square pattern by knitting 3 stitches and purling 3 stitches alternately. Knit 3 rows like that and then alternate by knitting the purl stitches and purling the knit stitches for 3 rows. Repeat this pattern until you have finished the dishcloth.
