Dressing Up for Role Playing – a Bulletproof Waistcoat

This fun pretend bulletproof waistcoat is made from foam rubber sleeping mat material, which is cut out, trimmed, painted black and fitted with velcro on each side for adjustable straps.

How to do it
1. 
Use a T-shirt for measurement and draw the waistcoat (also mirrored) onto the foam rubber sleeping mat material.

Cut out, and also cut out two long strips, each measuring approx. 3 x 20cm.

Paint the outside of the waistcoat and the two strips with black Art School paint. Leave to dry.

Attach one part of the self-adhesive velcro onto the back and along the entire length of each strip.
